What does the cosmetology program consist of?

A cosmetologist can offer all services as hair, skin and nails. It covers the fundamentals of every course. Once you receive a cosmetology license you can work as an esthetician, manicurist, hairstylist, colorist.

What will I learn in the cosmetology program?

A student will get introduced to the basics, but mainly it consists of all chemical texture services, color, cuts, styles, extensions, braids, hair treatments, men’s haircuts.

Can I do men’s haircuts with my cosmetology license?

Yes, you can do all men’s haircuts, but you cannot do a shave with a straight razor — you would need a barber license.
